stanley anscorm has finished the follow-up to battle beyond the sun. you can expect two epic tracks on this nearly 30 minutes record. although the tracks are based on identical compositional material, they shine in very different color. the black side is of high density and impresses with remarkable bass figures which seems to grow on the fundamental principles of low frequencies. these figures are easily carrying loads of percussions and even an orchestral set of horns which does not seem to be from this world. the white side can be understand as a lighter interpretation of the same topic and it is thrill of its own to discover the intersections between the two tracks. sure, this music is nothing you listen to in an elevator - stanleys art demands attention, there is no doubt about this - but the reward you get if you listen or dance to it with an open heart is of a kind you might never come in contact with somewhere else.

after the well received dvk remixes subsitenz thought its only fitting to pair up one of dnbs hardest and bulgarias biggest export cooh with the two south london stow aways dvk. there fruits of their labor as you would expect is fooking insane. off the leash is not for the faint hearted or pregnant a relentless driver of a track with beats that mutate and evolve constantly over subs fatter than dawn frenchs ass. with the signature dvk rolling percs and pumping side chained filth matched with coohs lethal arrangements and movement of beats off the leash is one pissed pit bull in a poodle parlor. once bitten twice shy is a techy affair still relentless to the core with all the twist and turns that are synonymous to the likes of cooh and dvk. filthy stabs and hits are thrown manically around like a poltergeist having an epileptic fit in a china shop adding chaos to the already frantic bass and grooves. the main heart to his puppy is banged home half way through of its unnatural life were it warps from chilled pads to a nodders delight. dvk and cooh have started the fire and will be back to fuel it very soon!

one of technos most diverse and prolific producers ‘mark broomis back again to demonstrate the definition of dub techno. this is a purist record through and through that unashamedly harks back to the classic chain reaction and basic channel sound, something that the world and its djs crave endlessly, and rightly so. all four cuts sail forth in calm warmth and steady bass, massive reverbs and echo are worked intermittently lifting everything upwards like a strong cosy breeze. the listener is forcibly bounced up and down in a gentle fashion, (we would expect nothing less than gentlemanly behaviour from broomer) and through proper application of decibels a full cellular body massage can result. this is essential dub for the techno journeyman out there. not only great to listen to, but also a helping hand with your exfoliation routine.
